I’m Kathy Rivas, the founder and strategist behind Kartika Studio. With over 12 years of experience in branding and 8 years in marketing strategy, I help SMEs and founders transform their businesses into standout brands: aligning creative identity with measurable growth. My expertise lies in bridging visual identity, brand positioning, and marketing execution to deliver both short-term impact and long-term success.

My story begins in Venezuela, where creativity has always been my driving force. I pursued a degree in Graphic Design and later Mass Communication, blending design craft with strategic communication. Along the way, I’ve lived and worked in Venezuela, Colombia, the USA, the UK and Spain — experiences that have shaped my understanding of diverse markets, human behaviour, and cross-cultural communication.

Over the years, I’ve specialised in brand strategy and marketing planning: building frameworks that help businesses scale sustainably. I integrate identity, storytelling, and market positioning with the right tactics, whether through campaigns, partnerships, or content that supports the wider strategy. My focus is always on creating brand ecosystems that are not only visually compelling, but also commercially effective.
