Kartika Studio didn’t start as a traditional agency.


It emerged from years of working across branding, marketing, and growth — both in-house and alongside founders and small leadership teams.

Over time, one pattern became clear:
most problems labelled as “marketing issues” were, in reality, clarity issues.

Campaigns struggled not because of poor execution, but because the brand lacked a clear position to anchor decisions. Teams worked hard, yet direction shifted constantly. Messaging evolved, but meaning did not.

This experience shaped the studio’s focus.

With over 13 years of experience in branding and more than seven years working across strategy, marketing, and communication, her perspective is shaped by long-term exposure to how brands evolve as businesses grow.

Her work spans founder-led and SME environments across the UK and Europe, Latin America, and with US-based clients, providing a cross-market understanding of how positioning, messaging, and decision-making adapt across cultures and stages of growth.

Kathy’s approach is grounded in second-order thinking. Rather than addressing surface-level brand or marketing challenges, she focuses on defining brand foundations and decision-making frameworks that influence structure, alignment, and long-term value.

At Kartika Studio, she works as a strategic partner to founders, defining brand foundations and decision-making frameworks that bring clarity to growth — with execution supported either internally or through Kartika’s creative studio and trusted collaborators when required.
